Pre-Use Tips
Never use it to test water/liquid
Never touch the stone or hard rock soil
Do not leave it in soil for a long time as this may shorten its life.
Wipe clean after each use.

How to use?
Step 1 - Insert the probe into soil 4-6inches. Step 2 - Adjust the position of the probe until the pointer on the dial swing slightly. Step 3 - Read the moisture level of plants after 1 minutes. Step 4 - Remove the probe from soil and wipe clean.

Why it shows different readings?
1. The probe may not have sufficient contact with the soil, please try to test it in a different location.
2. If it shows really wet in some spots but dry in others, it may not be watering properly. Try to water around the top, not just in a spot.
