Recently we had a problem with our electric can opener battery doors that were difficult to open.

Here are some instructions on how to open the battery compartment of these can openers:

Hold the smooth edge can opener electric with both hands, with the button side up.

Gently push back on the head of the hands free can opener electric to open the battery cover.

Placing the 4 AA batteries (not included) in the can.

place the electric can opener in the can and place the mouth of the can against the cutting blade.

With the press of the button, the electric safety can opener will automatically rotate, cut off the can lid and automatically close.

1. If the battery is dead, pressing the button may not release the can. Slide the battery cover forward and replace the four AA batteries. The four batteries need to be replaced at the same time, otherwise the opening of the cans will be affected.

2. Cans with heavy seams and uneven edges may stall the can opener. If this happens, follow the steps above to release the jar.
