- Flowers - Gayfeather will produce long upright flowers that bloom in a deep shade of magenta / purple. They open and flower during the late Summer months.
- Growth - Gayfeather is categorized as a perennial flowering plant that grows to a mature height of 24 to 48 inches tall. They can be grown in beds as a backdrop plant or isolated by themselves in mounds.
- Butterfly Garden - These flowers are the perfect choice for insectaries and butterfly gardens alike. They attract butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees and other beneficial pollinators to the garden.
