It seems due to its popularity and abundance Queen Anne’s lace has won itself a variety of nicknames: wild carrot, bishop's flower and bishop’s lace. It’s also known as bee’s nest or bird’s nest flower because of the curly nest-like appearance of stems, and living lace because of the tight knit delicacy of the blossoms.
