The Pentair Pentek GAC-BB is a 10-inch granular activated carbon cartridge for whole-house drinking water. It reduces bad taste and odor, including chlorine taste and odor, for good general-purpose water at every tap.

Water enters one end and passes through the full length of the carbon bed, while an internal expansion pad minimizes channeling and bypass to keep adsorption consistent. Before water leaves the cartridge, a post-filter permanently fastened to a support basket reduces carbon fines and other suspended particles for cleaner output.

Measuring 10" x 4.5", the GAC-BB fits all 10-inch Big Blue and other heavy-duty housings and replaces any 10" x 4.5" carbon cartridge. Rated to 125°F, it provides up to 12,500 gallons of chlorine taste and odor reduction at 2 gpm. This two-pack keeps a replacement ready; change the cartridge when taste or odor returns or flow drops.
