The Pentair Pentek R30-20BB is a 20-inch Big Blue whole-house sediment cartridge made from durable, non-woven pleated polyester. It reduces dirt, sand, silt, and rust down to a nominal 30 microns, helping protect appliances, water heaters, and plumbing across the home.

The media is pleated around a polypropylene core, giving the Big Blue cartridge more than 16 square feet of surface area to maximize dirt-holding capacity and extend the time between changes. The overlap seam is sonically welded to reduce internal bypass and improve efficiency. Because the polyester media is washable, you can rinse and reuse it, and it works with both chlorinated city water and non-chlorinated well water.

Measuring 20" x 4.5", it fits all 20-inch Pentair Pentek Big Blue and other heavy-duty housings, with a low pressure drop under 1 psi at 20 gpm and a 40-125°F range. Rinse and reinstall when flow drops; replace once cleaning no longer restores performance.
