Kaytee Mealworms are an excellent, high-protein food source for many wild birds. They are a high-energy treat that will attract many species of birds that are difficult to attract with traditional seed blends. This high-energy food source is a favorite among bluebirds, wrens, robins, chickadees, woodpeckers, cardinals, and many other songbirds that are hard to attract with the average seed blend. In addition, they are an important source of protein for baby birds. Dried mealworms have the nutritional value of live mealworms and are more convenient to feed. You can use them alone in a feeder or mix them with your favorite Kaytee wild bird food. Kaytee Mealworms are oven-dried for the best quality and are great for attracting insect-eating wild birds that do not usually come to bird seed feeders. At Kaytee, we know birds about as well as birds know birds. With over 150 years of experience, we put the finest ingredients and a genuine love of birds into everything we do.
