INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

  1. Clean the surface - Wipe down your griddle or cast iron to remove debris and moisture.
  2. Preheat - Heat until surface is between 350-450 deg F.
  3. Apply Seasoning - Scoop the griddle seasoning and place it onto the griddle.
  4. Spread Evenly - Use tongs with a paper towel to spread a thin, even layer across the entire surface.
  5. Let it Smoke - Allow the seasoning to smoke off, wiping away any excess seasoning as it smokes.
  6. Repeat - For best results with new or bare cast iron, repeat steps 3-5 at least three times to build a durable, non-stick coating.
  7. Ready to Cook - Once seasoned, you're ready to start cooking!
  8. Maintain - After each use or cleaning, apply a thin layer to preserve your seasoning and protect against rust.
