How to select the correct size and color? Choose the exact canvas size and preferred finish. For a 16x20 painting, the 16x20 frame is the exact match. We pre-calculated the 5mm gap, so there is no need to size up.
Is the frame too big if there is a gap? No, that is the intended floating effect! It leaves a precise 5mm shadow border around your canvas, creating a professional 3D gallery display.
What if my canvas is thinner than 1.25"? The frame securely fits up to 1.25" depths. For thinner pieces, simply add your own cardboard backing for a tight fit (DIY padding materials not included).
Is it hard to install? Not at all. An installation video is available in the image gallery to demonstrate how to securely mount different canvas depths without piercing the artwork.
Why PS material instead of wood? Crafted from high-density Polystyrene (PS), it offers the luxurious look of solid wood but is ultra-lightweight, completely moisture-resistant, and will never warp.
