The Pentair Pentek NCP-20BB is a 20-inch non-cellulose, carbon-impregnated pleated cartridge that does two jobs in one: it reduces sediment and it reduces taste, odor and chlorine taste and odor, for cleaner, better-tasting water without running two separate filters.

Because the media is a carbon-impregnated non-cellulose polyester, the NCP-20BB works with both municipal and non-chlorinated supplies, unlike cellulose cartridges limited to chlorinated water. Its pleated construction adds surface area for high dirt-holding capacity while keeping pressure drop low at just 1 psi at 10 gpm, making it a strong polishing filter for post-RO and well water.

Measuring 20" x 4.5" with a nominal 10 micron rating, it fits all 20-inch Big Blue and other heavy-duty housings and replaces any 20" x 4.5" carbon cartridge. Rated to 125°F, it provides about 1,000 gallons of chlorine taste and odor reduction at 4 gpm. Replace when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality.
